Fish Tale

fishingThis story makes me happy for a few reasons:

A) The tournament leader of an Alaskan fishing derby is a six year-old.

B) That six year-old is a girl.

C) She was disappointed with the 138 lb halibut she reeled in because she was hoping to catch a mermaid.

Fang goodness Twilight & True Blood are back!

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

Fang goodness, Twilight and True Blood are back!

Bite me haters.  This is my kind of cheese.

Here’s a link to the official trailer for New Moon, the next movie in the Twilight Saga, due for a November 20th release.  I didn’t think the sweet little kid playing Jacob in the original Twilight could pull off “big buff big bad wolf”, but… I stand corrected.  See for yourself.

Also, who is watching True Blood on HBO, and how excited are you for the season 2 premiere on June 13th?  Ten days to go!

Octomom’s reality television show

Monday, June 1st, 2009

Just in case you’ve been wondering what she’s up to lately, Octomom has a reality television show in the works.

The film crew will not be following her 24/7, but instead documenting milestones for her kids; birthdays, first this, first that.  Frankly, I would rather see the everyday type stuff she has to do, like eight feedings or diaper changes at a time.  I picture a conveyor belt, ala Lucy and Ethel in the candy factory, except with babies.

The production company, 3Ball Productions, (tee hee hee) is the same team who created The Biggest Loser, Beauty And The Geek, and For Love Or Money.  They have yet to sell the show to an American network.  Stay tuned.
